About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists to join Murray River Council to work for the community and be part of an inclusive and supportive organisation that values their employees.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Services Officer to provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Services Coordinator and our Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Services Coordinator and Directors.
  • Manage calendars, prepare agendas, take minutes, and handle correspondence.
  • Assist with special projects and enhance the efficiency of executive administrative functions.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

This position would suit an experienced professional with outstanding personal integrity as well as strong interpersonal, communication and administration skills who has good initiative and is a confident problem solver. To succeed in this role, you will also need:

  • Sound proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Technology One software system.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, the ability to build relationships across levels, and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Good Understanding of executive support role in Local Government environment

 

The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • NSW Working with Children’s Check
  • National Police Check
  • Pre-employment Medical
  • Australian citizenship or residency
