Facilities Booking Officer
Temporary Full-time Position (12 Month Contract)
Work Life Balance with Flexible Working Arrangements (WFH Opportunities) and a Variable Day Off every 19 days.
Competitive Salary $70,775.12 - $82,252.04 per annum (Depending on skill and experience) + 11.5% Superannuation
The Opportunity
Do you have a flair for organisation and love providing excellent customer service?
An opportunity exists where you will be able to put your organisation skills into practice as a Facilities Booking Officer, you will:
- Manage bookings for Council sports grounds, community halls, parks, and reserves.
- Using your excellent communication skills, you will be required to confirm all bookings ensuring necessary documentation is provided and venues are accessible
- Respond in a timely fashion to inquiries and requests for information regarding the booking of Council Parks, Sporting Fields, Halls, and other Council Facilities
- Ensure all bookings processes are complete in line with councils’ policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- You will report to the Coordinator of Customer Service and work closely with Business Support to ensure smooth operations of Council facilities.

What you need to succeed (Essential Criteria):
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar experience in a related role
- Strong customer service experience with a focus on handling complex requests
- High degree of organisation and time management skills
- High level of computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and data management systems.
- Strong communication & people skills - conflict resolution, decision-making, and managing tough situations
- Excellent attention to detail - ability to adapt quickly and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with managing databases/booking systems and be able to adapt to new systems quickly
- Good understanding of Work Health and Safety - experience with risk assessments
- Hold a current Drivers Licence (Class C)
