About the role
This position is a fixed term, full time role in the Children’s Services team and based at the Moruya Administration Office. The successful candidate will support the implementation of the Flexible Initiatives Trial to increase the number of Family Day Care Educators and provide Educators relief from time to time.
Your main duties will include:
- Provide relief which includes developing, implementing and evaluating educational programs.
- Support establishment of project deliverables such as resource packs, training, inspections and assessment etc. for new Educators.
- Undertake and review marketing and promotional activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
- Collect data and prepare reports and updates for Council and funding bodies.
About you
The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and have experience programming and implementing a range of experiences for children aged 0 to 12 years (especially 0 to 5 years). You will be a high achiever and will demonstrate the following:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Experience maintaining professional working relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Well developed oral and written communication skill with proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Education and Care Services legislation and National Quality Standards.
Salary Information
Total remuneration for the role is in the range $76,819.55 to $84,334.78 gross per annum consisting of:
- $68,896.46 to $75,636.57 base salary
- $7,923.09 to $8,698.21 superannuation (at 11.5%)
Appointment to this position is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory outcome as a result of a National Criminal History Record Check.
- Medical clearance to verify that you are safely able to undertake the duties of the position.
- A verified clearance as a result of the Working with Children Check.
