Elevate your Mechanical career as our Fleet Maintenance Planner! In this dynamic role you'll oversee the planning and coordination of maintenance and repairs for Council Fleet Assets. You'll have the opportunity to manage and optimise Council's Fleet telematics system, track performance and analyse data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of equipment and challenges, work with a supportive team in an environment where your safety is our top priority. Join us and be a key player in ensuring our fleet operates at peak efficiency!
You'll find growth through
- Developing work programs and service regimes
- Generating monthly preventative maintenance schedules
- Effectively managing parts requirements for services and repairs including ordering and tracking
- Ensuring Work Management data quality and integrity to improve performance and inform management decisions
- Performing operational cost analysis of plant equipment and recommend maintenance strategies
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Cert IV in a relevant discipline; or relevant qualifications with experience.
- Experience with Asset Management Systems and Software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders
- Intermediate computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Demonstrated experience in organising and managing conflicting work priorities
We would also love you to have:
- IPWEA Fleet Management Certificate
- Experience in data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI
- Experience in managing telematics systems

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $85,603 to $99,483 ($46.85 to $54.45 per hour).
