Position Overview

The Graduate Traffic Engineer will assist in providing safe and sustainable traffic and transport solutions for the community. This role involves developing technical documentation, providing advice, and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to meet project and customer needs.

Reporting to the Team Leader of Traffic and Transport Services, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of traffic plans, managing consultant engagements, and supporting grant applications. You will also assess development applications and provide technical inputs on traffic and transport matters.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and possess a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.

  • Recent graduate or nearing completion of a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Valid Class C Driver Licence.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and reporting.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to various stakeholders.

  • Package: From $76,424 - $81,008 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Temporary full-time position 35 hours per week with 19 day month flexitime option available. The position is expected to be available for 12 months.
