An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join our Vegetation Works Team. This position provides quality service to the Hill’s Shire community. You must have the ability to work as part of a team to complete a variety of tasks associated with the planned maintenance and presentation of council's parks, gardens, reserves and sports grounds, by utilising a variety of mowing, cleaning, chemical and maintenance techniques to ensure areas are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.

What this role looks like:
• Conduct a daily maintenance check of plant and equipment and report issues.
• Deliver and collect materials/clients or employees.
• Operate plant and equipment.
• Assist in the delivery of programs and activities.
• Assist with maintenance of standard operating procedures and processes.
• Follow up on maintenance issues.
• Chemical management.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests.
• Undertake maintenance works.
• Upkeep council infrastructure.
What we are seeking in our new team member:
1. Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW Essential
2. White Card - General Construction Induction Essential
3. First Aid & CPR Desirable
4. Chemical Safety Accreditation AQF3 Desirable
5. Drivers Licence (Class MR) – NSW Desirable
6. Traffic Controller Desirable

Permanent full-time role on a nine-day fortnight, W0255 Salary: Up to $67K + Superannuation
