Position Overview
The Group Support Officer will provide essential administrative support to the Public Safety and Lifeguard Services unit. This role involves acting as a key point of contact for external government agencies, managing incoming inquiries, and ensuring the accurate processing of relevant data and communication.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining databases, supporting legal processes, managing customer complaints, and facilitating effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Provide vital administrative support to ensure effective public safety functions.
- Engage with various stakeholders, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
- Essential Qualifications: Class C Licence.
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail under tight deadlines.

- Package: $76,424 - $81,008 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Full-time 35 hours per week, with the option of a 19 day month (flexi-time arrangement).
