Our Assets and Infrastructure directorate is responsible for leading, planning, delivering and managing the development in Georges River Council including delivering new infrastructure, services including responding to residential, commercial and industrial growth. The directorate Business Units consist of:
- City Operational Services
- City Technical Services
- Premium Facilities
- Strategic Placemaking
The City Operational Service Business Unit currently seeking an experienced people manager to effectively lead a team and manage the City Presentation functions across Georges River Council’s depots at Mortdale and Carlton.
About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to come on board in the position of Head of City Presentation to be a part of the leadership team in City Operational Services. The successful candidate will Lead the effective management of City Presentation in a safe and efficient manner to deliver a prompt and reliable service for Council.
- Permanent, Full-Time
- Salary from $123,891.39 - $143,546.89 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation

- 36 hours per week worked over 4 consecutive days (Tuesday to Friday OR Monday to Thursday)

Selection Criteria:
Qualifications, Certificates & Licences
- Qualifications in a trade or relevant experience.
- Current ‘C’ Class NSW Driver’s license
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Essential
- Extensive experience supervising staff across multiple sites.
- Extensive experience coordinating plant and contract resources to achieve quality service outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in motivating and leading a team
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, understanding of and commitment to WHS practices and EEO principals.
