Your Role in Our Green Team

As a Horticulturist, you’ll be right in the thick of it, maintaining our stunning horticultural assets either at a fixed site or as part of a mobile crew. You’ll get your hands dirty while planning and executing a variety of horticultural tasks, all while keeping safety at the forefront of everything you do.

Your work will directly impact the quality of our open spaces, making them enjoyable for everyone in the community. Whether you’re managing work fixed sites or delivering maintenance programs, your contributions will be valued and appreciated.

Are You the One We’re Looking For?

If you have a passion for plants and a knack for keeping things tidy, you might just be the perfect fit! We’re searching for someone with:

  • Certificate 3 Horticulture or equivalent qualifications in a related field is essential for this role as well as experience in a similar role.
  • NSW - WHS General Induction Card (White card).
  • Possess a Chemcert (AQF3) or equivalent qualification.
  • Class MR Licence – valid or willingness to complete within 6 months of appointment. 
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with staff, peers, and the public

  • Package: $67,752 - $71,706 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 38 hour week, with a 9 day fortnight
