Industrial Electrician

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

• Variety of work from geographically diverse locations to varying technologies & equipment

Your new job

You will participate as an electrical team member, by providing technical advice, planning, designing, programming, installing, commissioning and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment including motors, controls, SCADA & instruments to meet relevant specifications, standards and codes.

Provide specialist analysis, technical and support services associated with the automation of treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and other process infrastructure.

• Starting hourly rate of $46.05 
• Plus $137.62 on-call allowance (and requirement) per week when rostered on-call
• Plus $142.68 industry allowance per fortnight
• Plus $86.40 tool allowance per fortnight
• Plus 17.5% leave loading
• Plus 11.5% superannuation
• Work/Life Balance - Based in the award-winning town
  of Mudgee.

You

Have a Certificate III Electro Technology Systems
Electrician or Certificate III Electrical Mechanic and Electrician NSW Qualified Supervisor
Certificate.

Have experience in the maintenance of complex
switchboards and control apparatus and demonstrated ability to design, construct
and install upgrades to industrial electrical equipment utilised in the water
industry.

Hold the ability to identify and contribute to
continuous improvement of systems and processes and to work as part of a team, work
alone and work without supervision.

The starting salary being offered for this full-time position is an annual salary $90,989 gross plus Award allowances and superannuation.

Council conducts annual performance appraisals which links to the salary system and the ability to incrementally increase salary steps.
