About the opportunity
We are excited to share a permanent, full-time opportunity available for a qualified professional to support our Information Management Analysts in delivering cutting-edge records and information management solutions across our business units.
In this high-performing team, the ideal candidate will have a background in project support, records and information management, and the analysis and documentation of business processes to ensure compliance with the State Records Act 1998.
This role is perfect for a self-starter with strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of tackling complex tasks while engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Certificate IV in Recordkeeping or Information Technology
- A minimum 4 years’ experience in Records Management
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Records Management business rules, procedures, practices, and policy
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience applying the NSW State Records Act 1998, associated standards and other relevant legislation
- Demonstrated experience in completion of projects in the support of end users in the use of recordkeeping systems
- Experience in the analysis and documentation of business processes leading to the development of appropriate information solutions and strategies
- System administrator knowledge of EDMS – Content Manager (CM9).
Desirable:
- Experience in project and/or change management practices
- High level computer literacy and ability to use a range of software products
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in using Kodak scanning applications.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,361.20 per week
- 35-hour working week
