As part of the Strategic Asset Management team, you are responsible for an integrated asset information system – developing, updating and maintaining – which ensures asset management plans and infrastructure programmes are provided and meet City standards.  This role offers you the opportunity to apply your advanced IT skills by developing and maintaining inventory data sets for all our infrastructure assets, utilising GIS tools to ensure those assets are linked to geographical locations, and are updated correctly in the Asset Management module.  You will be the module champion for parks and building infrastructure assets, enabling to apply your interpersonal skills as you train colleagues in the system. 

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria when submitting your online application:

  1. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  2. Developed problem solving and analytical skills
  3. Advanced information technology skills including infrastructure asset management information systems and the ability to develop and maintain registers for infrastructure assets and the Microsoft Office software suite
  4. Experience with geospatial information systems, updating and modifying geographical information mapping layers and data
  5. High level of asset management skills

We are offering a gross salary of $87,585 per annum and: 

  • 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
