This position involves using the Council’s Record Management System to ensure documentation aligns with organisational standards while delivering high-quality irrigation services across Council-controlled Community Parks, Sports Fields, Road Reserves, Streetscapes, and Cemeteries.
This role requires a thorough understanding of the irrigation industry and a commitment to contributing to a safe, efficient, collaborative work environment.
About the role:
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems to keep community spaces in optimal condition.
- Apply technical expertise to select materials and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and irrigation industry regulations.
- Operate and maintain the latest Computerised Central Control Irrigation Systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support new projects and ongoing maintenance efficiently and professionally.

We are seeking:
- Certificate III in Irrigation.
- Practical experience working in irrigation installation, repairs, and maintenance.
- Current Vehicle Licence - MR.
- Proficiency in using computer-based applications and retrieving relevant data.

Where it's located:
This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
