  • Salary: $64,246 - $72,210 p.a. plus 11% Super

About the role
This is a permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm position working 35 hours per week. This position is located at the Nowra Administration Building.

Duties
Reporting directly to the Manager – Building Services, the focus of this position is to:

  • Provide efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to facilitate a high standard of customer service for the Building Services Manager and Team including.

  • Reception function for the Manager – Building Services
  • Responding to incoming calls promptly where possible, or refer appropriately.
  • Support the Building Services Team to ensure the maintenance of high standards of customer service to internal/ external customers and clients.

  • Effectively coordinate the administrative workflows in Building Services to achieved deadlines and meet customer expectations including.

  • Incoming and outgoing correspondence tracking, including overdue correspondence.
  • Arrange meetings/ appointments/ events developing agendas, minute taking and provision of required resources. Including catering where appropriate
  • Develop purchase orders and invoice matching within Council’s financial system, to ensure prompt payment for goods and services.
  • Web edit for the Building Services Intranet and Internet pages as required

Skills & Experience
To be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

  • Provide efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to facilitate a high standard of customer service for the Building Services Manager and Team.
  • Effectively coordinate the administrative workflows in Building Services to achieve deadlines and meet customer expectations.
  • Certificate IV in Office Administration/Secretarial Studies or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to senior management or a section/unit/team.
  • Demonstrated ability in project/event coordination.
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
