About the role
Mike Barnett Sports Complex in Rockingham is the city’s largest indoor sports complex and one of Western Australia’s largest multi-use sports facilities. Committed to providing excellent customer service to all patrons during every visit, the centre offers a range of sports such as basketball, netball, badminton, pickleball, volleyball, as well as events such as expos, markets, and dance events, aiming to serve the whole community.
As a Kiosk Attendant, you will provide high levels of service to the patrons of the city’s sports and leisure facilities. If you are a team player with great people skills, strong time management, and food preparation skills, we want to hear from you!
This role is perfect if you have experience working in a café environment involving food and beverage preparation and enjoy working with a diverse range of people. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess sound interpersonal and communication skills, as well as cash handling and customer service experience. A current Food Handling Certificate, Provide First Aid Certificate are also essential.
Applicants must be flexible and available to work in line with the kiosk's opening hours, which vary. Positions are offered with a guaranteed minimum of 3 hours per week (except during school holidays).
The Mike Barnett Sports Complex kiosk operates around competitions and major bookings. Monday-Friday shifts can vary from 3:30pm-9:30pm. Weekend shifts during the winter period (April-September) can vary from 7:00am-10:00pm. All shifts will fall within these hours of operation.
What we offer
The hourly rate for this position is as follows:
$25.62, plus superannuation
