About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour has multiple opportunities for experienced Leading Hands to join our Landfill Team.
As a Leading Hand, you'll play an important role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of England's Road Waste Management Facility. You will actively participate in the implementation of the Environmental Management System and help foster a positive environment for your team.
The Leading Hand will be responsible for supervising the team, ensuring works are delegated appropriately and allocated tasks are managed to make the best use of plant, materials, time, and resources.

About you?
- Certificate lll in Civil Construction, or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience on at least one of the following machines:
- Waste Compactor, Track loader, Excavator, Front-end loader
- National Construction & Induction Certification (‘Whitecard')
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Current Class HR NSW Drivers Licence
- Forklift Licence (Class LF) or obtain within an agreed timeframe
- Available to work a 7 day a week rotating roster

- $67,700.13 + 11.5% Superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
