About The Role
The Legal Administration Officer plays a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the in-house legal practise, particularly in the areas of planning, litigation, property, and legal advisory services. You will be responsible for facilitating communication between internal staff and external parties, managing legal documentation, and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to strict deadlines. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the seamless operation of our legal services.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised professional with a strong background in legal administration, particularly legal or related. The successful candidate will possess:
- Practical administration experience in a local government context. Experience in legal administration including planning, local government, environmental law, criminal law, conveyancing, litigation and contracts would be desirable.
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to foster strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders.

- Package: $67,752 - $75,656 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Temporary Full-Time 35 hours per week with option of 19-day month with flex-time arrangement. Position is expected to be available for up to 12 months.
