- Temporary full time, 35 hours per week up to 12 months
- Salary range from $75,960.23- $82,225.96 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation

About the role
Reporting to the Manager Leisure Services, we are seeking an experienced Leisure Services Support Officer to join the team on a temporary full-time basis for up to 12 months. The Leisure Services Support Officer provides a wide range of administrative support to the Manager Leisure Services and the broader Leisure Services team.
Council's Leisure Services include:
- Eagle Vale Central
- Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre
- Macquarie Fields Fitness and Indoor Sports Centre
- Minto Indoor Sports Centre
- The Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre
- The Billabong Parklands
Working across all leisure sites, the key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in appointment management, preparation and distribution of meeting minutes and agendas, collation and presentation of data, and provision of information for reports.
- Collection and review of participation data to effectively monitor trends and aid in the delivery of services.
- Management of sections software management system including database management, staff profile management, resource management, POS, membership/pass type management and online system web management.
- Provision of administrative support for the review, distribution and recording of the Leisure Services formal documentation.
- Provision of administrative support in document records for the Leisure Services section.
- Coordination of the centralised records of section, position and site inductions, staff training requirements including compulsory training, internal workshops and in service training.
- Effective integration of new team members into the Leisure Services section.
General working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Although, flexibility is required to work within the Award spread of hours between 5am-11pm dependent on operational needs.
To be considered for this opportunity, the succesful applicant will have:
- Current Working with Children Check with Services NSW.
- Certificate III in Business Administration and/or job-related administrative experience.
- Current Resuscitation certification.
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support to a Manager and a large customer facing team.
- Proven experience in office organisation and record keeping.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound time management skills and the ability to organise work efficiently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and diplomacy at all times.
