About the role

Reporting to the Library Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of branch operationsin accordance with organisational policies and procedures

 

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervision and allocation of workflows within the branch team
  • Evaluate performance, identify training needs and provide coaching for branch staff
  • Contributing to, and supporting the achievement of the Library’s improvement goals, activities and initiatives
  • Customer-focused service delivery to library clients

 

Required experience & skills:

  • Qualifications as a librarian recognised by the Australian Library & Information Association (ALIA)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in a Team Leader role
  • Contemporary knowledge of library and information trends
  • Experience delivering library services within the public sector
  • Current Working with Children Check

**As a part of the branch network team this role will be required to work at any of our libraries as rostered. A willingness to work flexible hours on occasion, including rostered evening and weekend work will be required**
