Salary from $42,553 to $51,240 (pro rata) pa plus super
The role
Mosman Council is seeking an experienced leader to drive weekend services at our single-branch library located in Mosman’s civic and cultural precinct.
With a focus on leading the weekend team and ensuring we are providing exceptional customer service; the role also includes oversight of:

Supervision of two direct reports

The delivery of high-quality library services

Supporting the delivery of weekend events and programs
Reporting to the Team Leader Library Experience this role would suit someone with previous leadership experience, or who is an emerging leader with extensive public library experience.
The role includes 6 hours every Saturday and Sunday, and 5.5 hours worked on a weekday to help ensure your connection to the rest of the team.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
To be successful in this role you will have leadership experience in a public library setting.
You will also have experience in delivering a wide variety of public library services and bring thorough knowledge in understanding library events, processes and promotions.
Above all, you’ll work well with the team and the community: a great fit with us, and a positive connection point for our local community as we continue to develop and enhance our library offering.

The position is identified as a Child-Related position under the Commission of Children and Young People Act 1998 and the successful candidate is required to hold a valid Working With Children Check.
