Join us as our new Manager Arts and Culture for a brand-new opportunity!
The Manager Arts and Culture will lead the Western Plains Cultural Centre and Cultural Development Team within the Community, Culture and Places division. The role focuses on delivering high quality services and strengthening our community engagement with arts and culture experiences. The position will also oversee the project management and operation of the, to be constructed, Wiradjuri Tourism Centre.

The Arts and Culture is responsible for the strategic management, experience delivery and financial performance of Council’s Western Plains Cultural Centre and Cultural Development Team.
The position is also accountable for identifying and driving partnerships with government, industry and operators to grow appreciation of arts and culture, including the implementation of our Public Art Strategy and development of a new culture strategy that aligns with the Dubbo Regional Council’s Community Strategic Plan. What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
-
Bachelor Degree in Arts, Marketing, Business, or related discipline and/or experience commensurate to the qualification.

Demonstrated
experience in commercial management and in the strategic management of a
cultural facility. -
High level organisational skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders.

Excellent skills in research and data analysis and the ability to undertake economic, business and financial analysis.
-
Superior
management and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and
maintain positive, cooperative and productive relationships with staff,
the community and key stakeholders. -
Experience in developing commercial and/or government partnerships to deliver improved business performance or customer service outcomes.
We would also love you to have:
- Experience in developing or managing business marketing strategies and campaigns.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $121,093 to $163,833
