The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to
join a dynamic team within the Arts and Culture sector in the vibrant region of
Western Sydney. Based in Windsor, NSW, and reporting to the Gallery and Museum
Coordinator, the purpose of this role is to research, develop and deliver
innovative, multidisciplinary, inclusive and accessible programs, events and audience engagement with the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and
Hawkesbury Regional Museum’s visitors.

About You

You will have demonstrated experience in developing and
maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all
levels. You will have excellent organisational, problem solving and time
management skills with the ability to complete tasks within deadlines. You will
be passionate about engaging with diverse audiences and developing effective programs as well as proven capability to
foster community participation, access and engagement.

Essential Criteria

  • Related tertiary qualifications and a minimum
    of 2 years’ experience in a relevant field such as arts education, public
    programs, museums studies, and or visual arts
  • Experience in project coordination including
    the proven ability to plan projects effectively and achieve desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated
    experience in developing and implementing innovative and structured learning
    programs and resources for diverse audiences such as youth, CALD, mature,
    disability/access
  • Demonstrated experience in primary and/or
    secondary education and a good knowledge of NSW History and Creative Arts
    syllabuses
  • Knowledge of current research arising in
    education, Gallery/Museum based learning and or an understanding of museum
    standards and the gallery/museum sector
  • Class C Drivers Licence
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Desirable

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Demonstrated experience to work with social media
    and online resources to effectively engage audiences
  • Demonstrated experience to work in small
    multi-disciplinary team, with limited resources and supervision
