Education and Care Services is responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality childcare services and educational programs in the Campbelltown local government area. We provide care to children aged 0-12 years and operate according to Early Childhood Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Standards and Framework.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Nominated Supervisor who will be responsible for providing supervision, mentoring, direction, guidance and leadership to all staff, trainees and students within a Long Day Care service. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the service adheres to the Department of Education and Communities regulations and other legislative requirements and maintains a high standard for Assessment and Rating and the provision of high quality care. The successful applicant will be passionate about growing our childcare services, providing quality care to our community, and getting involved in continous improvement related projects.

Positions available;

  • 1x Permanent full time, 35 hours per week

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Minimum Diploma Education and Care qualification recognised as an approved qualification by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
  • Ability to maintain the role, responsibilities and qualifications of a Nominated Supervisor as per the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Education and Care Services National Law and Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Framework (NQF) and associated legislation and child development 0 – 12 years.
  • 12 months relevant work experience and/or child care management training
  • An understanding and awareness of Child Care Subsidy.
  • Knowledge and experience with relevant PC application software 
  • Current working with children check, approved First Aid Certificate and approved asthma/anaphylaxis training.
