About the role
This is a permanent, full time position working 38 hours per week located at the Nowra Aquatic Park. As part of the Shoalhaven Swim, Sport & Fitness Team, this position oversees the daily operations and maintenance of the Nowra Showground Precinct. Collaborating closely with the Northern Precinct Coordinator, this role also provides recommendations and resources to uphold and improve the showground’s standards.

Duties
Reporting directly to the Precinct Coordinator - North, the focus of this position is to:

  • Oversee/Administrate all bookings for the hire/use of Nowra Showground assets
  • Camping and campsite management
  • Assist with maintenance of buildings, gardens, lawns, amenities and other assets of the Nowra Showground Precinct
  • Ensure formal inspections are carried out using prescribed formats which identifies, records and rectifies defects
  • Prepare accurate and precise progress reports on status of projects, scheduled operation, recommendations and budget compliance
  • Assist with maintenance of irrigation systems

Skills & Experience
To be successful in the position, you will possess:

  • Experience in supervising and guiding work teams / contractors to competitively deliver specified outcomes.
  • Cert III qualification in Horticulture, Asset Management, Project Administration, or other relevant field (or an equivalent level of experience)
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
