The role & you

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Operations Triage Officer to join our Public Spaces Department. This role is essential in providing specialist system support and data management, ensuring the effective operation of Council’s Buildings and Open Space assets. You will play a key role in maintaining asset data, supporting service delivery, and driving continuous improvement to ensure these assets serve the community at the highest standard. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide system support and data management to the Public Spaces Team.
  • Manage asset maintenance data and address defects from inspections.
  • Use the CRM system to manage and reallocate Customer Service Requests.
  • Support Trades officers in efficiently using the work management system.
  • Provide regular reports on service delivery and work management tasks.
  • Review and recommend improvements to practices and procedures for better efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong knowledge of asset management and work order systems, including their integration with financial systems. You will be skilled in asset management software and CRM systems, with the ability to manage asset maintenance schedules and address defects from inspections.

You will support operational teams, such as Trades officers, ensuring the effective use of work management systems. Excellent problem solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to analyse data and produce reports are essential. A proactive, detail oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and service delivery will be key to your success in this role.

Salary: Commencing salary package range circa $63,900 p.a. - $70,300 p.a. plus superannuation. (Dependent on skills and experience).    

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
