We have an opportunity for a enthusiastic Operator - Premium Facilities (Olds Park) to join our Georges River Council, based in Penshurst. Our people are working to make the Georges River area an accessible, green, diverse and innovative community and economy.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Operator to work in the Olds Park ground maintenance team in a safe and efficient manner to deliver a prompt and reliable service to the community.
Work we offer
- Permanent, Full-time opportunity - 76 hours per fortnight with Rostered Day Off (RDO)
- Salary from $54,605.29- $62,365.62 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation

The successful candidate will have
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Demonstrated experience and/or interest in working within a sporting grounds/park maintenance
team - Experience in providing maintenance services for community and park infrastructure with demonstrated ability to be accountable for. agreed work methods, standard and outcomes
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of plant and/or various equipment common to park and garden maintenance (mowers, edgers, blowers etc)
- Understanding of and commitment to WHS practices and EEO principles
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Appropriate written and oral communication skills
Desirable
- Relevant Qualifications or Trade Certificate
- Chemical Application Accreditation
- Traffic Control Tickets
- Class MR Drivers Licence
