Georges River Council have a fantastic opportunity for an Operator - Service Delivery (Civil) to join their team based in Carlton.

Georges River Council is currently seeking an Operator - Service Delivery (Civil) to join our Civil Maintenance Crews based out of Council's Carlton depot. Working in a small team you will be required to carry out maintenance on the roads, footpaths and stormwater assets within the Georges River area.

  • Salary from $54,605.29- $62,365.62 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate

The successful candidate will have

  • Class C Drivers' Licence as a minimum 
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  •  Demonstrated experience in working within a maintenance crew
  •  Experience in providing maintenance services and a demonstrated ability to be accountable for agreed work methods, standard and outcomes
  •  Understanding of and commitment to WHS practices and EEO principles
  •  Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Appropriate written and oral communication skills 

 

Desirable

  • Relevant Qualifications or Trade Certificate
  • Chemical Application Accreditation
  • Traffic Control Tickets
  • Class MR Drivers Licence
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of plant and/or various equipment common to cleansing, parks, civil construction and/or trades maintenance
