We deliver 28 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 380,000 residents.
The role
Assist the center in upholding exceptional standards of education and care for children in the middle childhood stage.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure compliance with the Education and Care National Law and Regulations, including the National Quality standards, at all times.
- Assist in the implementation of an innovative and reflective middle childhood education program that is reflective of the principles, practices and outcomes of the Middle Year Learning Framework
- Contribute to a collaborative team through shared learning, a positive attitude, and sound communication skills.
- Develop and maintain meaningful, respectful relationships with children families, colleagues, community members, management and other relevant professionals.
- Observe and document children's learning and development using a variety of methods.

You will have
- Working with Children Check.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
- Experience in providing quality learning experience and environments for young people.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and build trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and development.
- Effective communication skills.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $35.4098 per hour (Grade C, Step1) + 11.5% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
