Casual Out of School Hours Educator
Hourly Rate: $44.77 per hour + 11.5% Superannuation
Hours Vary from 6:30am - 8:45am or 2:30pm -6pm and 8am-6pm during school holidays.

The Opportunity
Wingecarribee Out of School Hours Care provides an inviting, fun filled and caring environment for children aged 5 to 12 years. With both structured and unstructured activities provided, with an emphasis on free play, where children are provided with active supervision that supports developing confidence and building positive friendships. We currently have opportunities for casual Wingecarribee Out of School Hours Care staff with hours available before and after school Monday to Friday during the school term as well as day shifts for vacation care which is run during the school holidays.
The successful applicant(s) will work in conjunction with other team members to provide a safe and secure environment which fosters open, but professionally appropriate, communication between families, schools and the local community.
Applicants must have some flexibility around the hours of 6:30am - 8:45am or 2:30pm - 6pm and 8am - 6pm during school holidays.

Essential Criteria
- No formal qualification required.
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate as approved by ACECQA or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check clearance or willingness to obtain
- Understanding and application of relevant legislation, regulations and standards that relate to the role.
- Demonstrated understanding of the daily running of an active children’s program.
- Demonstrated experience in providing positive customer service.
- Demonstrated ability of working and contributing as an active team member.
