1 x Permanent Full Time – 35 hours, 5 days per week
Salary: $99,858.23 - $109,419.10 + 11.5% super
Closing Date: 14 April 2025

 

Liverpool City Council is positioned to lead its community through immense change over the next ten (10) years.  City Operations covers a geographical spread of over three hundred (300) kilometres squared and one thousand seven hundred and eighty-two (1,782) assets spread across 41 suburbs in the Local Government Area (LGA).  The LGA population will increase considerably in capacity over the coming five (5) to ten (10) years.

 

Accordingly, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Parks teams to provide quality-based services to Council’s sporting fields, parks, and open spaces in a timely manner.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE.

 

You will have the responsibility of directing operational teams and monitoring their completed works as well as the management of contractors completing programs for council. The development of the programs needed for the maintenance of sporting fields and the transition of high use areas for seasonal use will also be a high priority in this position.

 

ABOUT YOU.

 

 

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:

 

  • Current Class C Driver license
  • General Construction WHS (White Card)
  • Certificate 3 Turf Management, Horticulture or similar qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of IPM practices
  • Effective Communication – written and Oral.
  • Experience in parks, and open space project management ( 5+ years’ experience managing multifaceted sporting venues)
