With a team project portfolio that is varied and constantly growing, we are looking for applicants with experience in public open space maintenance and project planning to join our Parks Services team.
The Parks Maintenance Planner provides planning and scheduling for operational renewal, upgrade and replacement of parks and landscape infrastructure. This role will ensure appropriate standards for the City’s Parks infrastructure restoration, reinstatement and compliance.
If you are interested in this role, you will need to demonstrate well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and engage effectively with stakeholders. You are proud of your high attention to detail and have excellent time management skills and sound computer literacy. You will also need to have experience with procurement processes, particularly in relation to tenders or contracts, and a current West Australian ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application
- Diploma or Cert IV in a relevant discipline (e.g Landscape Design, Project Management, Horticulture) or demonstrable and relatable knowledge and experience
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and expertise in asset renewal planning and public open space asset management
- Experience in capital/operational program development within a public open space management, landscape design and maintenance, horticultural or local government context
- Knowledge of project management processes (PRINCE2 or similar)
We are offering a gross salary of $87,585 to $94,072 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, and:
- 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
