How you’ll make a difference
Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a Part-time Pathways Administrative Support Officer based in Katherine, NT.
This position is responsible for assisting the Employment & Pathways Team with day-to-day operations for the Community Development Program (CDP).
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure a professional, efficient, and courteous service across the organisation and external stakeholders.
- Assist the Employment & Pathways Coordinator and Employment & Pathways Consultant with daily tasks.
- Carry out any other duties as directed by the CDP Senior Management Team.
- Deal with a range of customer queries efficiently and courteously
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure the proper Work Health & Safety regulations set by Council are adhered to.
- Comply with all Council policies and procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality within the CDP program

Experience and Knowledge Requirements
- Basic/Sound computer skills
- Good phone manner
- Ability to perform multi-tasks under pressure.
- Personal integrity, good interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition.
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve outcomes.
- Basic understanding in the field of customer services and the CDP program
- Sound knowledge of the principles of Work Health & Safety.
Other Requirements
- Sound language literacy and numeracy (LLN).
- Criminal History Check (recent within 3 months)
- A current Drivers Licence
