About the role
Be at the forefront of developing and maintaining transport and stormwater drainage strategies that will guide the City's future growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a future works program for transport and stormwater drainage assets, focusing on renewal, upgrades, and strategic maintenance.
- Work alongside the Section Leader Transport Services to lead infrastructure works programs and establish priorities based on community and regulatory needs.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of transport and drainage systems while advocating for sustainable practices in urban planning.
- Engage with stakeholders, providing technical advice and fostering positive relationships to enhance customer service.

What You Will Bring:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with practical experience in the transport, stormwater drainage, or asset management sectors is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with community members and stakeholders. A commitment to work health and safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
