Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Plant Mechanic to join the Infrastructure team!
- Permanent full time - 38 hours per week
- Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year!
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $1207.02 - $1448.40 per week
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful applicant will efficiently and effectively maintain Council's plant and assist with plant operation and truck driving duties as required.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Mechanical Trade certificate
- Current C Drivers Licence
- Extensive experience in repairing heavy vehicles and plant
- Braising, welding and oxy acetylene cutting skills
- SafeWork WHS General Construction Induction (White Card)
