About the role
Council is seeking a dedicated and reliable Plumber to join our team, ensuring our local infrastructure and public facilities remain in top condition.
Reporting to the Supervisor Trade Services, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a wide range of plumbing services across various sites, including maintenance, repairs, and installations in public buildings, parks, and community facilities
- Respond to plumbing emergencies quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to council services
- Work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality, timely service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of all plumbing work carried out and comply with relevant health and safety regulations
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Relevant plumbing qualifications and a current driver’s licence
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
