Description
Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre, located in The Hills Shire Council area, is looking for an experienced Permanent Part Time (20 hours) Lifeguard to join our team. The complex includes a 10-lane 50m outdoor Olympic-sized pool, additional 25m outdoor pool and two indoor learn to swim and leisure pools, along with a water play area, and a fully equipped fitness centre. What this role looks like:
- Undertake accident & incident investigations and reporting in accordance with Council requirements.
- Check safety equipment is in good working order, complying with the Venue Emergency Action Plan.
- Ensure daily operations are carried out in accordance with the Centre Operations Manual.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
- Previous lifeguarding experience in a similar role.
- Ability to provide customer service by performing lifeguarding and assisting patrons.
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Working with children check
