Principal Town Planner

The Shire of Toodyay is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a full time Principal Town Planner. At the Shire of Toodyay, we are committed to fostering sustainable development and ensuring the orderly growth of our district. You'll play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and guidance to Council, staff, developers, and the community on a wide range of complex planning matters. You will get to experience everything across the planning spectrum with a dedicated support and management team, in a town where only the best is good enough. We have a large heritage inventory, scenic landscape controls and the Avon River in the centre of town. Our housing and subdivisions are increasing as are our tourist attractions. We’re just 45 minutes from Midland on one of the states most scenic roads – the most picturesque way to work you’ll ever take.
