As a part of our Corporate Governance Division, our Procurement Team is dedicated to implementing best practise procurement processes, ensuring that our operations align with our strategic intent to support the community effectively.

About The Role

The Procurement and Contracts Officer provides comprehensive management support for our centre-led procurement function. You will be responsible for coordinating supply chain and procurement systems, maintaining accurate data input and documentation, and assisting Procurement Business Partners with their operational needs.

In this role, you will facilitate vendor relationships, ensure compliance with procurement guidelines, and play a critical part in enhancing our procurement systems and processes.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of local government procurement legislation and policies, alongside proven experience in public tendering and contract development. You should also have exceptional computer literacy and analytical skills.

  • Class C Drivers Licence is essential.
  • Demonstrated understanding of procurement legislation and policies.
  • High level of computer literacy and analytical skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Procurement or Administration, experience with Vendor Panel or TechnologyOne systems is desirable.

You will be a proactive team player, skilled in decision-making and critical thinking, with excellent communication abilities to simplify complex information for diverse stakeholders.

  • Package: $85,562 - $95,831 (full-time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Temporary Part-Time, 21 hours per week. Opportunity expected to be available until mid-January 2026.
