Procurement/Stores Officer
- Salary $68,114.80 to $79,012.96 p/a + super
- Permanent full time position – 35 hours per week

About the role
Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We are seeking a committed and motivated Procurement/Stores Officer to join our dynamic team.
Reporting to the Manager Procurement & Contracts, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Support procurement system users
- Maintain supplier details in Councils procurement system and update preferred supplier register
- Maintain procurement system to enable workflow of invoices
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable Team to enable the timely processing of payments
- Raise requisitions in conjunction with procurement team members for stores replenishment requirements
- Report on procurement trends and issues
- Provide procurement system training and assistance to staff
- Review and report on stock levels and overall carrying costs
- Ensure compliance with Council policies, procedures and applicable legal requirements
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in stores/procurement/administration
- Class C Driver’s licence
- Forklift licence
- Experience with Technology One Enterprise Suite, procurement, stores, accounts or a similar system
- Experience in logistics and/or procurement
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
