  • $120-$140k p.a. plus super
  • Monthly RDO
  • 5 Weeks Annual Leave
  • Based in Innisfail or Tully

The Position

We are seeking talented and enthusiastic Project Managers to undertake a number of complex multi-faceted projects, provide quality project management across a range of infrastructure projects undertaken by Council. Our towns are undergoing transformation, bringing more tourism, and public facilities for outdoor activities in our nature wonderland.

 

About You

• Preferred tertiary qualification in architecture, engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field

• Experience in project management for development and/or delivery of projects

• Positive ‘can-do’ approach to work

• Enjoys collaborating across the organization to deliver projects and achieve outcomes

• Accomplished project manager with strong contract administration skills

• Ability to manage complex projects with tight timeframes, budgets, political sensitivities, and high public interest

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong ability to maintain productive relationships with various stakeholders

• Must have experience in building infrastructure (experience in digital, telecommunications, roads, rail, etc., is insufficient)

• Must hold a current “C” class driver’s licence.
