Description

A two-year term contract and working within the Infrastructure Project Delivery Team, the Project Manager is responsible for the overseeing the delivery of Council’s civil, recreation and built assets infrastructure.

 

The position will manage contractors, consultants and internal teams within Council to deliver high-quality, long-term outcomes for the organisation and the community and ensure a sustainable Blue Mountains.

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management and or significant project management experience in the management of civil construction projects
  • Experience in working with quantity surveyors, planners, design consultants, construction contractors, project/program budget preparation, management and monitoring and reporting against program and project targets
  • Demonstrated experience the management of multiple projects with external contractors and consultants on the delivery of construction projects;
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management and procurement; administration of formal contracts and agreements for construction work including Request for Quote (RFQ) and Request for Tender (RFT), as it relates to construction design and delivery in a government environment

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; RDO every fortnight, flexible working arrangements

 

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $100,949 gross per annum

+11.5% superannuation

+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary

+ annual award increase
