We deliver 28 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 380,000 residents. 

The role
The Project Support Officer position will undertake a range of activities which includes projects, research, analysis, reporting, implementation, and administration to support the development and delivery of HR-related projects, in line with established project plans and objectives. 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Conduct basic research and analysis to support informed decision making and planning.
  • Manage inquires and prepare quarterly reports.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders about project status and implementation issues.
  • Assist the HR Projects Team in completing tasks and ensure outcomes are achieved.
  • Update and collate documentation and records of policies and practices deadlines.
  • Provide various administrative services to support project management deliverables.
  • Develop organisation-wide communication according to a communication plan for various projects.
  • Perform administrative tasks including drafting correspondence and providing other necessary support.

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Administration/Project Management, or related discipline and/or relevant experience
  • Class C Drivers License
  • Experience working in a HR environment
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Sound communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong administrative skills, including the use of MS Office products

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $80,293 (Grade F, Step 1) + 11.5% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
