Our Property Services Team are seeking a Property Support Officer to manage Land Manager's Consent and Road Reserve Event applications, prepare lease documents, support property maintenance and build strong relationships with tenants and key stakeholders.

About the Opportunity
This job opportunity involves a variety of tasks centered around property management. Key responsibilities include managing internal and external applications for Land Manager Consent and Road Reserve Events, preparing preliminary lease and license documents, and maintaining a comprehensive lease and license database. Additionally, the role supports Council’s response to property maintenance requests and focuses on fostering strong relationships with tenants and other stakeholders.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Qualifications and/or extensive experience in office administration or similar.
- Demonstrated high level ability in the use and operation of PC Software Systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience in and the ability to process Land Manager Consent applications.
- An understanding of and experience with Property Management activities, especially within a local government environment.
- Ability to maintain record/filing systems whilst maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to liaise confidently with public on telephone / direct contact.
- Ability to set priorities and manage time to achieve specific and set objectives.
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 5 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $77,725 to $89,201 per annum statutory superannuation.
