Rates Property Officer

 

  • Salary $68,114.80 to $79,012.96 p/a + super 
  • Permanent full time position – 35 hours per week

About the role

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for property and rates management? Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking a dedicated Rates Property Officer to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional services to our community.

 

Reporting to the Revenue Accountant, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance of Council’s name and address register
  • Data entry in relation to property, rates and financial information
  • Updating direct debit information
  • Issuing invoices
  • Processing Pensioner rebate applications
  • Providing efficient advice / solutions and information when responding to enquiries both written and verbal

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Sound financial and/or accounting skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
