Full-time – Fixed-term (6 months)

Position Number: 8311         Location: Queanbeyan

The Package: $1,280.38 - $1,414.83 gross per week + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 7 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26. This position may be considered for on-going appointment, subject to the availability of future vacancies.

Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.

Are you looking for a role in Information Management, and looking to work within your local community? Council is seeking a Records Officer to help keep our information organised, secure, and accessible.

 

In this role you will:

  • Assist with the efficient and effective day-to-day management of the operations of the Records team.
  • Assist with monitoring Council’s recordkeeping system and ensure quality control procedures are followed by other users within Council.
  • Assist in the management of storage and movement of files and documents in accordance with Council procedures, with security and confidentiality in mind.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has demonstrated experience in a similar role (e.g. Information Management, Record Keeping).
  • Demonstrated high-level ability using Microsoft Suite of programs and Electronic Document Records Management Systems, such as One Council / ECM
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service and advice.
