How you’ll make a difference
Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a full-time Regional CDP Coordinator based in Katherine, NT.
The Primary function is ensuring a sustainable delivery model of remote employment and community development service. Support Job Seekers in remote Australia to build skills, address employment barriers and contribute through a range of services, projects and approaches that are needed and wanted by local communities.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the CDP Regional Manager with the Management of the CDP contract.
- Oversee allocated operational sites to ensure sites operate smoothly and targets are met.
- Monitor and oversee the key performance indicators (KPI’s) for operational sites and ensure contractual compliance.
- Ensure all tracking records are maintained and securely stored with participant training.
- Monitor and manage subcontractor performance.
- Set targets for individuals that achieve contractual outcomes and obligations.
- Monitor progress against individual development and training plans for each staff member.
- Assist the CDP Regional Manager in conducting performance management and appraisal processes.
- Establish and work with Employment Coordinators to prepare Work Experience Agreements with community stakeholders and other VDRC departments.

Experience and Knowledge Requirements
- Experience in the employment services sector in remote areas.
- Ability to travel to all sites to support staff.
- Demonstrated organisational skills to coordinate and balance tasks efficiently in a team environment to achieve key performance indicators and operational targets.
Other Requirements
- Criminal History Check (recent within 3 months)
- A current Drivers Licence
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (desirable) or previous experience (essential).
- current Working with Children's Check
- Must have a "My GovID"
