About the opportunity
We are seeking a Rehabilitation Support Officer to join our Workers Compensation and Safety section on a permanent, full-time basis.
The successful applicant will provide administrative support within the Safety section, assisting with a range of general clerical duties.
You will assist in the following:
- Provide general clerical assistance to section
- Data entry of workers' compensation claims
- Processing payment of invoices
- Administer the Employee Health Surveillance program in accordance with the Work Health and Safety System
- Liaise with workers, supervisors and managers as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the health Surveillance program including scheduling appointments
- Prepare correspondence for the Health Surveillance Program
- Maintain the Health Surveillance electronic database Qualifications and experience.
Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 12 months experience working in an office environment
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Able to work flexible working hours.
Desirable:
- Current class C drivers’ licence.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,316.09 per week
- 35-hour working week
