We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Resource Recovery Contract Coordinator to join our team at Willoughby City Council!

About the role

The Resource Recovery Contract Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient, comprehensive and responsive waste services to the community and Council. The role is also responsible for managing waste contracts and budgets whilst liaising with customers, both internal and external, in an efficient and professional manner.

 

Requirements

  • Qualification in Contract Management, Business Administration, Environmental management or related field or equivalent qualifications and experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of waste management and resource recovery
  • Demonstrated experience in waste operations, supervision and contract management
  • Demonstrated project management skills including a proven record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget
  • Strong level of ability in using Microsoft packages; word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications
  • Strong and effective interpersonal, teamwork, leadership and customer experience skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to liaise with Council staff, contractors and the community
  • Class C Drivers Licence
