Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an innovative Council seeking to make a positive difference in the community you support? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Risk Management Coordinator (Assurance) to join our team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing support in the development and implementation of an integrated Enterprise Risk Management Framework to minimise exposure to a broad range of risks in line with legislative requirements. The role also administers Council’s Insurance portfolio, dealing with all aspects of insurance claims management, policy renewal and liaison with customers and insurance providers.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management/Business, or equivalent industry experience;
  • Experience and expertise in managing enterprise risk and insurance, including using risk analysis tools;
  • The ability to assist in the identification and implementation of interventions to reduce organisational risks and liabilities;
  • The ability to prepare reports and recommendations on risk management activities;
  • Expert knowledge in relevant legislation and the ability to apply that knowledge to ensure organisation compliance.

Salary range – Up to $103K per annum (incl super) dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate.
