Title: Rockpools Team Member, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week

Salary Range: $63268.37 to $73528.14 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Parks & Open Space is responsible for areas and facilities that add to the community’s enjoyment of Council developed spaces, to encourage and provide for passive and active reactional needs.  

Parks & Open Space includes the following functions:-

  • Recreation planning and management
  • Reserves and commercial centres maintenance
  • Sporting fields
  • Tree management
  • Asset planning and management
  • Business support and management

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include: 

  1. Cleaning and Servicing of Council’s Rockpools at night.
  2. Operating small plant and equipment to clean Rockpools such as high pressure water cleaners,pumps,rakes and shovels to remove algae, sand, seaweed and oysters.
  3. Maintenance of Rockpool surrounds and beach showers. small concreting jobs, painting and other general maintenance.  
  4. Working within the Rockpool team to service and clean the pools to a high standard.

We’re looking for a reliable team member to join our Rockpool Cleaning team.  You’ll bring energy and can do attitude to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
